Chapter 213: Ch-213 Shanks Leaves Konoha.

After making his decision, Minato didn't waste even a second. He immediately went inside the house to bring Naruto out. When he reached Kushina's side, he paused. She was lying there peacefully, her expression calm, almost as if she were merely asleep. Using his senses, Minato could tell that she wasn't losing any vitality—nor was she gaining any. She existed in a perfectly suspended state, frozen between decline and recovery. It was unmistakably the effect of Shanks's sealing technique. From head to toe, sealing marks spread across Kushina's body like an intricate tattoo, faintly visible beneath her skin.

Minato gently picked up Naruto and walked out of the room without hesitation. He carried his son outside and carefully placed him on the ground. Looking down at Naruto, Minato spoke softly, his voice heavy with resolve. "I'm sorry, Naruto. And I'm sorry, Kushina. I'm doing what I believe is best for both of your futures… and for our future."

Straightening his back, Minato turned toward Shanks and said firmly, "We are ready, Lord Uzukage."

Shanks nodded once. In his mind, he issued a command. "Raphael Divide the Nine-Tails into two parts—one Yin, one Yang."

"Yes, Master," Raphael's voice responded inside his head.

Immediately, two massive hands emerged from behind Shanks. Formed through his mastery of Yin Release and Yang Release, the hands were enormous—one left, one right—radiating a terrifying pressure. The two giant hands clamped onto the already pinned Nine-Tails. One of them began to pull away at its chakra, not tearing flesh, but separating something far more fundamental: the Yin chakra of the Nine-Tails itself.

The Nine-Tails roared in fury. All nine of its tails slammed violently against the ground, sending tremors through the earth. "Uzukage, you bastard!" it cursed, its voice filled with hatred. "Stop this at once, or I'll never let you go! I'll destroy Uzushiogakure!"

Shanks ignored every word.

Moments later, the separation was complete. The Yin aspect of the Nine-Tails was fully extracted, leaving behind only the Yang Nine-Tails restrained by the pillars. Shanks turned toward Minato and said, "This is the Yin Nine-Tails—the darker, more spiritual, and more volatile part of its power. It will be extremely difficult for a newborn to handle. It's best if you take this part yourself."

Minato nodded without hesitation. "Yes."

Shanks immediately began forming hand seals. At the same time, Minato joined in, assisting with the technique. Shanks was using the same sealing method Minato had once used in the original course of events—the Eight Trigrams Sealing Technique. As the seals were completed, the Yin Nine-Tails was drawn toward Minato, its chakra surging violently before being pulled into him.

In the next moment, the Yin Nine-Tails was sealed inside Minato, its presence settling deep within him as the sealing took hold.

Minato closed his eyes, focusing entirely on stabilizing the Nine-Tails that had just been sealed inside him. Shanks gave him the necessary time, allowing Minato to suppress and settle the Yin Nine-Tails within his body. Meanwhile, Shanks continued his work. His hands moved fluidly as he formed another sequence of seals, and immediately the Yang Nine-Tails began to be pulled toward Naruto's stomach.

"Damn you, Hokage! Damn you, Uzukage!" the Nine-Tails roared in rage. "I swear, the moment I break this seal, I'll destroy both Konoha and Uzushiogakure without mercy!"

Shanks paid no attention to the threat. The sealing process continued uninterrupted, and moments later, the Yang Nine-Tails was completely sealed inside Naruto.

Shanks finally released a slow breath, a faint sigh of relief escaping him. The massive hands behind his back dissolved and vanished into nothingness. He formed one last hand seal, and the four iron pillars restraining the Nine-Tails disappeared in puffs of white smoke, returning to the scroll lying on the ground. Shanks picked up the scroll and slipped it neatly into his haori.

At that moment, Minato opened his eyes.

Almost immediately afterward, Hiruzen arrived at the scene along with several ANBU ninjas, Danzo, and the other high-ranking Ninjas of Konoha who had been engaged in the battle. Their eyes were drawn to Naruto lying on the ground. At the same time, Yoko and Benimaru appeared as well. Yoko had already reverted from his white fox demon form back to normal, his white hair fading and returning to its original red color.

Shanks ignored the presence of Konoha's higher-ups entirely.

Hiruzen looked toward Minato, who had just opened his eyes after stabilizing the seal within himself. He asked gravely,

"Minato… where is the Nine-Tails? Is it inside your son?"

Hiruzen could see Minato's newborn son and the sealing mark on the child's stomach. Since Minato was not facing him directly, Hiruzen failed to notice the hole in Minato's clothes around his stomach area.

Before Minato could respond to Hiruzen's question, Shanks spoke, cutting in without hesitation as he addressed Minato.

"I'm taking Kushina with me. If my estimation is correct, it will take around eight to ten days for her to heal completely. Once she recovers, I'll allow her to return to Konoha."

Hearing this, Minato bowed slightly.

"Yes, please, Brother-in-law."

Shanks acknowledged him with a nod—this was the first time Minato had addressed him as his brother-in-law—and then walked into Minato's house. He gently lifted Kushina into his arms and carried her outside.

Hiruzen, Danzo, and the other higher-ups clearly wanted to speak with Minato, but Minato raised a hand to stop them.

"Please wait until Lord Uzukage and the others leave," he said firmly. "We'll talk after that."

Shanks stepped outside, Kushina resting quietly in his arms.

"I'll be leaving Kushina in your care," Minato said softly.

Shanks nodded in response. Benimaru placed a hand on Yoko's shoulder, and in the next instant, all three of them vanished. They reappeared at the edge of Konoha's barrier, walked a few steps beyond it, and then activated their respective techniques to depart. Benimaru used his spatial movement to appear directly in Uzushiogakure, while Shanks, activating his astral imprint, appeared there a second or two later.
